Contac acquires assets of Forum Productions Inc.
VANCOUVER—Third-party logistics company Contac expanded its reach into print with the acquisition of certain printing assets from Forum Productions Inc., a Delta, B.C.-based commercial printer.
With the transaction Contac has acquired a wide range of print equipment and technology including a six-colour, 40” sheetfed press; a four-colour UV hybrid, 29” sheetfed press; a die-cutter/foiler; and an assortment of other assets, according to a company press release.
The acquisition of these assets allows Contac’s print division to increase daily output to more than 1.6 million sheets per eight-hour shift on offset presses.
