Toronto bindery celebrates 70 years
TORONTO—Specialties Graphic Finishers is celebrating its 70th anniversary next month. The shop which specializes in “unusual jobs” according to president Norman Beange, was founded back in 1939, and more than a dozen employees have been there for 30 years or more.

Beange told PrintCan that to his knowledge, Specialties Graphics is the oldest bindery in Ontario. He also said no festivities are planned, just business as usual.

The shop does a variety of finishing and bindery work, including saddlestitching, step cutting, die cutting, and tag stringing, and employs 130 people.
